The selection process consists of four phases: Nomination, Evaluation by the Judging Panel, Endorsement by the Management Committee and Announcement. Nominations are submitted through the online form and evaluated by the Judging Panel. After the Judging Panel makes its final decision, the Management Committee endorses the award recipients, who are then announced at the Awards Ceremony.
The Judging Panel comprises members of the NUSS Advisory Panel and the NUSS President.
The Judging Panel seeks members who have demonstrated exceptional service and contributions to NUSS, NUS or its predecessor institutions. For the Distinguished NUSS Member category, the nominated member should also have provided exemplary and sustained service to the broader community.
The award recipients and nominators will be notified after the Judging Panel has finalised their selections. The award recipients will receive their awards at the Awards Ceremony and their names will be shared through various online and print platforms both during and after the Ceremony.
