2. Entrance Fee

1. The entrance fee for Ordinary/Associate Membership is $10,000*.
2. Applicants who join within 36 months from the date of their first degree or postgraduate degrees (provided such postgraduate degrees commence within twelve (12) months after obtaining the first and subsequent full-time degree) shall pay a concessionary entrance fee of $2,000*.
3. Applicants who join within 72 months but more than 36 months from the date of their first degree or postgraduate degrees (provided such postgraduate degrees commence within twelve (12) months after obtaining the first and subsequent full-time degree) shall pay a concessionary entrance fee of $2,500*.

5. Subscription Fee

The subscription fee is $100* per month for members and $10* per month for Spouse Members. The monthly subscription fee billing commences once the application is approved by the Management Committee.

6. Transfer Members

Joining NUSS at the concessionary entrance fee shall not be permitted to transfer their membership within 36 months from date of joining.

1. Copy of university degree;



2. One (1) recent passport-sized colour photograph (Soft Copy acceptable);



3. Our team will contact you to arrange for the sighting of your NRIC/Passport;

      ($214 admin fee [inclusive of GST] + $100 credit deposit for family transfer / life member family transfer)

5. If applying for Spouse Membership, one (1) recent passport-size colour photograph (Soft Copy acceptable).
   For verification purpose, we will also arrange for the sighting of your spouse's NRIC/Passport & Marriage Certificate for proof of relationship between the main member and spouse applicant.

8. Free-Look Period (Not Applicable for Secondary Market Transfers)

Applicant has 5 working days to review this application. If Applicant decides to cancel the application, the Applicant will need to write / email / fax to NUSS within 5 working days of the application date to cancel the application. NUSS will refund the payment made in full within 60 days after the cancellation of the membership application.

9. Notes for New Members

1. The GST on the entrance fee is payable in full upon application and is non-refundable.
2. Please allow 21 working days for processing.
3. NUSS reserves the right to withdraw or amend any promotions without prior notice.
   Incomplete documents will not be processed.

DECLARATION BY APPLICANT

In accordance with Article 14 of the Constitution of NUSS, l, the above (Transferor), hereby submit this application to effect the transfer of my membership to the following (Buyer):

l, the above (Transferor), hereby also declare and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. I shall indemnify and hold NUSS and its Management Committee (officers and employees) harmless from all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities (including statutory liability and liability to third parties), penalties, and costs (including without limitation, legal costs on a full indemnity basis), awards, losses and/or expenses, arising from the sale of my NUSS membership.
2. I have never committed an act of bankruptcy or been adjudicated a bankrupt either in the Republic of Singapore or in any other country and that l am not aware of any bankruptcy proceedings pending against me in Singapore or elsewhere.
3. I do not have any pending disciplinary case brought by NUSS against me under the Constitution of NUSS.
4. That this transfer will be considered only upon full payment of the relevant transfer if such a transfer fee of $4,000* or $200* for family transfer is applicable and all outstanding balances due to NUSS. The transfer fee is subject to Article 14(5) of the Constitution of NUSS
5. The transfer form shall be effective only when NUSS confirms the receipt of the form.
6. This application for transfer is at the sole discretion of NUSS.
7. I shall be liable for my membership subscriptions and any outstanding charge(s) due to NUSS and incurred on my Monthly Statement of Account inclusive of the month in which the transfer is approved
8. I am not subject to Article 14(6) of the Constitution of NUSS that would disallow me to transfer my membership.
9. I shall inform the Society in writing within fourteen (14) days upon receipt of the Buyer's cheque that the payment to me is in good order. The transfer shall only be deemed complete after such confirmation.
