The NUSS Toastmasters Club was chartered on 17 December 2004. Our members participate actively in delivering their speeches and leadership roles in our club.
NUSS Toastmasters Club is part of Toastmasters International, which is recognised worldwide. One has ample opportunity to interact & exchange ideas with fellow toastmasters from other clubs around the world through regular chapter meetings, joint-meetings with other clubs, & bi-annual conventions.
The mission of Toastmasters is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
NUSS Toastmasters - A President Distinguished Club!
With the dedication, passion and commitment of our members, the NUSS Toastmasters Club was conferred the 'President Distinguished Club’ by Toastmasters International for the terms 2008/2009 and 2010/2011. This is an honour that the club continues to strive to build and develop from strength to strength. Members' lively participation in the activities have made them cogent, impressive and effective communicators, team players and leaders. Members have acknowledged that they have become better contributors at home, work and in the community from skills acquired in Toastmasters.
