Business Development Manager


A unique and highly challenging role for a self-starter, this role requires the individual to leverage on technology to develop new business models, platforms and partners, in order to engage the graduate and undergraduate communities in Singapore and further the mission of NUSS.





  • In line with the objectives of NUSS, conceptualise, develop and execute on alternative self-sustaining business models using technology as the driver
  • Establish partnerships with startups, SMEs and corporates to create sustainable value for users
  • Engage and assess technology startups with innovative business models to determine their fit with both existing and new business models of NUSS
  • Work with internal departments to develop and roll out relevant events and campaigns
  • Drive the setting up of infrastructure to support the new business models
  • Manage budgets and forecasts relating to the new business




  •  Degree with at least 3-5 years of experience with a startup, in business development or corporate innovation
  • Business savvy with entrepreneurial spirit to handle new challenges while working within a corporate framework
  • Good knowledge of e-services, digital marketing and the latest trends in consumer technology
  • Hands-on experience in organising campaigns and events
  • Strong network or networking skills to establish corporate partnerships at the highest levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software and Google Analytics applications
